2023 ASCP WAGE SURVEY

The American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is conducting its biennial wage survey of practicing laboratory professionals. Since 1988, ASCP has conducted this survey to inform the pathology and laboratory medicine field of the most recent national wage data. Historically, the results of this survey have been published in the American Journal of Clinical Pathology (AJCP) and have served as a basis for additional research on laboratory recruitment, retention, education, marketing, certification, and advocacy. In addition, ASCP will continue to collect data on how COVID-19 is impacting the laboratory giving you an opportunity to share your experiences/information through these questions.

Along with filling out the survey yourself, we ask that you forward this information to your laboratory professional colleagues to allow the collection of data for as many laboratory professionals and all laboratory positions as possible. The wage survey will remain open until Wednesday May 3rd, Midnight Pacific Time.

As always, the ASCP has taken special measures to ensure your privacy and the privacy of your laboratory. Your responses are strictly confidential. No individual level data will be revealed, and in the final survey report, all information will be aggregated.

This survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. There is a “BACK” button at the bottom of the page which will allow you to go back to the previous question to change your answer if necessary.
