PAMET-USA Nebraska Officers and Members worked hard and volunteered for the Give a Hand, Take a Hand relief operations for Bohol earthquake and typhoon Haiyan victims. A total of 10 jumbo boxes with canned goods, clothes and medical supplies were shipped to the Philippines and a total of $1000 were raised and donated to aforementioned cause.

Nebraska initiated the Give a Hand, Take a Hand T-shirt Project that
was adopted by PAMET-USA Inc for the collaborative project with ASCP.
The goal of the project is to raised funds to help rebuild schools for laboratory professionals that were destroyed by the earthquake and typhoon Haiyan.
The chapter was responsible for the distribution of GHTH T-Shirt orders
nationwide. The collaborative effort between ASCP and PAMET-USA Inc
raised $10,000.
Formal turn-over of the proceeds of Give A Hand, Take A Hand Philippine Relief was done during the Annual Convention of the Philippine Association of Schools of Medical Technology (PASMETH) last May 5, 2014 at the University of Lyceum of Batangas, Batangas City. The recipients of the project were three schools of Medical Technology: St. Scholastica's College-Tacloban, Remedios Trinidad Romualdez Medical Foundation-Tacloban and San Lorenzo Ruiz College of Ormoc, Inc-Ormoc City.
